Swiss Competition regional products 2011
In this contest, whose medals were awarded on Saturday 1st October-Courtemelon Delémont, Le Gruyère AOC has distinguished himself by winning several medals. We congratulate the winners:

Vincent Tyrode, Tyrode Sàrl Fromagerie in Auberson, Margot refiner Cheese SA
Also received awards for their fondue:
Gold Medal:
Fromagerie Moléson SA Orsonnens for its half and half melted Moléson
Bronze Medal:
Didier Germain, Fromagerie des Ponts-de-Martel, for his molten Britchon
Jean-Daniel Jäggi, Cheese Grandcour for his house melted mixture
Six days of sampling were required to evaluate the products listed 1'022. 902 products meeting the criteria for regionality were assessed for their quality. Only the best products (30.3%) were awarded medals. The four best products by category were nominated for the Award of Excellence, whose winners will be selected by a Superjury in Zurich November 11, 2011, in the first Slow Food Market.
