Terms and conditions of entry for Predictions Competition – Le Gruyère AOP Challenge

The company Interprofession du Gruyère, Place de la Gare 3, 1663 Gruyères-Pringy, is the promoter of a competition with no obligation to purchase and invites its followers on Instagram to predict the results of the Le Gruyère AOP Challenge every week as part of the Cross-Country World Cup. Entrants share their prediction by responding to the Le Gruyère AOP story (instagram.com/gruyere_aop) using the “Response” sticker.

This competition is not organised by Meta, Facebook, Instagram or the FIS.

The competition runs from 1am on 6 December 2021 to 11pm on 15 March 2022.

The winner will be announced on 16 March 2022.

Entries to the competition can be made 24 hours after the story’s publication on Le Gruyère AOP’s Instagram account throughout the period mentioned above. Entrants can participate in the predictions every week on the following days: 6 December 2021, 13 December 2021, 20 December 2021, 5 January 2022, 28 February 2022 and 14 March 2022.

All natural persons aged 18 or over and residing in Europe for the entirety of the competition are eligible to enter the competition free of charge with no obligation to purchase. Employees of Interprofession du Gruyère are not permitted to enter.

During the 2021 Cross-Country World Cup organised by the FIS, the winning athletes of each stage receive a piece of Le Gruyère AOP cheese weighing 2.5kg as part of the Le Gruyère AOP Challenge. The aim is to collect as many pieces of Le Gruyère AOP as possible.

Every Monday, on the dates mentioned above, internet users are invited to share their predictions for the Le Gruyère AOP Challenge using the story’s “Response” sticker to name the athlete whom they think won the most pieces of Le Gruyère AOP in the preceding week.

On 16 March 2022, the winner will be drawn at random from all entrants whose predictions were correct throughout the competition. The winner will be notified by direct message (DM).

The prize is a slice of Le Gruyère AOP cheese, weighing 2.5kg and worth CHF 60, and the following Fischer cross-country ski equipment:

• Fischer skis + bindings: 690 euros
• One Way poles: 350 euros

By participating in the competition, entrants fully and unconditionally accept the present terms and conditions of entry.

Any breach of the competition terms and conditions will result in disqualification from the competition, cancellation of all entries and the refusal or withdrawal of a prize. Le Gruyère AOP reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of entry at any time or limit winnings without notice.

This competition shall not be subject to any discussions or correspondence by any means whatsoever, except with the winner.

Legal recourse is excluded. This competition shall be exclusively governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Bern.
