Today, an idea for a quick recipe: friends turn up at the last minute, the fridge is almost empty. Tomatoes and a good slice of Le Gruyère AOP… Now you can make some little cakes. Nice and soft, they are ideal for a drinks reception, lunch or brunch.

10 gof baking powder

Preparation
Tomato Cake with Le Gruyère AOP
- Cut the tomatoes into little pieces.
- Put the milk and oil in a pot, then heat it up in the microwave for a few seconds.
- Whip the eggs in a large bowl, then add flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the milk and oil and mix well.
- Add the tomatoes, diced Le Gruyère AOP and chopped parsley and mix well.
- Pour the mixture in a mini-cakes baking tin and sprinkle some grains on top of each mini-cake.
- Heat in the oven at 180 °C for 25 min. (watch the oven to be sure) for mini-cakes, or 45 min. for a big cake.
